    Customer Reviews:
    GH3 for the Wii
By now, especially in reading the other reviews, you know what this game is about. So, on to my experiences with it…

This game is quite fun, plain and simple. Granted, if you’ve learned guitar, you might need to “unlearn” it to an extent, but of course you’re not here to play a guitar, really, but to play a video game — complete with button timing and accuracy. In this, GH3 succeeds quite well. Graphics might not be world-beater, that’s for sure, but I didn’t get a Wii so I could have PS3 graphics. That’s why I got a PS3. The graphics are workable, and for the most part not distracting.

The song selecion is good, too — almost all the regular songs are fun to play (exceptions are due to personal taste, as we all have our opinions on this). The bonus songs are almost exclusively from the past few years. The older songs all hit the mark perfectly, but the newer ones are very hit and miss. Still, you don’t need to play them to progress in the game.

The downsides? Alas, not all of the songs are original recordings. That gets a big minus in my book. The boss battles could’ve been far better, but are passable, with one exception. Tom Morello’s “I can make funny sounds with my guitar” battle is distracting and dull. I can get through it fine but only on mute — and a guitar game where mute not only helps but soothes your ears is not a good thing. I know the battles have been tweaked for GH World Tour, and good for that, but between the covers and this aspect, this game loses a star.

However, I’ve been playing this game for a good many months and replayability is still there. A solid purchase.

    Love it!!!
I LOVE this game! It has great songs, most of which everybody should know. It’s alot of fun and easy to play! If you don’t know what you do here it is:

Pretty much when the little circle note lines up with the other circle you press down the color of the note and then you strum. That’s pretty much what you do, you can play career to unlock songs. And there is free play but you can only play which ones you unlocked or bought (with money earned from Career). And if you have two guitars you can play two player.

    Neat Game
I purchased the game for my 12 year old son. He loves it and his 8 year old sister loves to watch him play. She also sings the songs. Unfortunately, not all of the songs should be sang by an 8 year old but that’s probably why it’s rated “T” for teens! Overall, it’s a fun game.

A Game made for Metalheads and others of course .
This game rocks. If I were to compare it to something I was famliar with from the 80s it kind of reminds me vaguely of the Simon game you follow a color pattern and have to keep up with it. However with a guitar controller and cool rock songs. These are very innovative games as well as fun. It seems pricey at first but its so worth the 89 bucks I paid for it just for what you get outta it. You have so many options with Wi-fi, Career mode and for us noobs a “blushes with embarassement” there is even a tutorial and a practice mode haha. For us noobs and “older” guitar hero players I am in my 30s so it will be quite a learning experience but I enjoy it. It has to be the most fun for the wii so far. I can’t wait to see other titles that will becoming along. I had the choice to get this or the Aerosmith one with the guitar. I chose this I like to have a variety to chose from that way. I may down the road also pick up the Aerosmith one as well as I tend to be a bit of a collector and horder when it comes to things .I like the design of the guitar controller, the stickers they give you. The ability if you want to customize the guitar by ordering other faceplates. The songs they have on the game are ones I am famliar with both metal and hard rock some are kind of new to me I haven’t heard. Its a good game for developing good cordination as well. Its just a rockin game and you’d have to pick it up don’t shun at the price believe me while its up there and to us having to pay almost 5 bucks a gallon for gas it can be pricey but I guess if you invest in this game you won’t be sorry you did its so worth it being able to play a guitar in your own living room and rock out to the songs you grew up with.

Lots of fun, even if you’re an old fogie
I bought this for my son-in-law. I decided to try it and had a blast. It’s not as easy as it looks, and the songs are great for baby boomers. Lots of laughs.

    Helps get you started
The Dummies books are designed to get people started using the 5% of any application most people use, most effectively. This book continues in that tradition. For previous Quicken users, it may be a bit confusing, but this version of Quicken has some changes that are a bit confusing (in my unofficial poll of 26 Quicken 2005/2006/2007 users who upgraded). Worth having on the shelf for quick questions.

not bad for previous quicken users-good for new
I would like to review a few pages(10)before making a decision to purchase. This was my first Quicken product in many years. My friend who ahs used the software for a while finds the new release confussing on navigation-the book needs more visuals(using color codeing) and a quick ref sheet removable-to use when new user navigates.( remember, the new user may not be a tech head! There is a information lack on” OK-I made a mistake and I want to start over and need to delete what I have and begin all fresh again”.

    Cute but flawed film
I enjoy both of the films.

I 1st watched them simply to see Julie’s performance.

The film is cute but flawed, NOT near perfect. Some scenes work, others drive you crazy on how cheesy they are.

After the surgery that hurt Julie’s ability to sing the chance to see her sing in the film DISNEY HAD TO RUIN TO ADD THAT RAVEN GIRL IN THE SONG JUST BECAUSE SHE HAD A SHOW ON THE DISNEY CHANNEL AT THE TIME. JULIE SHOULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN A SONG SHE COULD DO ON HER OWN. Do we need to point out Julie’s Disney history? Her 1st film “Mary Poppins” won her the Oscar. The soundtrack won an Oscar & Julie sang several memorable songs. Did Disney forget this?

I did NOT like Larry Miller’s character in either film

Hector Elizondo was good as Joe in both films

Good, not outstanding, extras on the DVD.

Songs in the film did NOTHING for me.

    Better than Orignial
I really liked this movie, even better than Princess Diaries one. It’s funny and heart-warming (anythings heart-warming to me). I’d say for girls of all ages. If you liked Princess Diaries watch this movie!! I don’t really think you need to watch the first one to watch this one.

    The Princess Diaries II
This was a very entertaining movie. I like the first version better than the 2nd which is usually the case but this movie was very good. I think all ages would enjoy it.

    great and easy transaction!
Great and easy transaction–fast shipping and product arrived in great condition. I would definitely recommend this seller!

    *Good Movie For Everyone!*
A good movie for the whole family. One to be enjoyed by all.If you liked the first one you will enjoy this one.

A MUST read for every American
Definitely worth reading. This is in my top-five of all time. Well written. Great research. Easy to read. Compelling story. Read it.

    heartbreaking
Luis paints the scary picture of crossing the desert. He puts humans behind the names of the crossers, border protrol, and the cyotes. Based on true events that happen everyday. This is a must read for everyone in the United States.

    Devils Highway
Excellent story. Highly recommend to others. Great eye opener to be thankful for everything we have. Great book!!

    Wow!
I was assigned this book for a college English class. I was not looking forward to reading it, but found myself very glad I did.

It is a very interesting account of a true life happening told in a poetic(almost florid) way. The word pictures are amazing! I appreciate the way the author “shows” not “tells”.

I especially enjoyed the way each person’s point of view is explained. Immigration is a very complicated problems with no easy solutions. This book did a good job of making me empathize with and understand the various characters whose lives are very removed and different from my own.

(In that way it reminded me of “The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down” by Anne Fadiman.)

    The Devil’s Highway
The conflict of the story is there are 26 Mexicans from different parts of Mexico that cross the boarder illegally. They cross the boarder into a desert they call hell. The desert is the Sonoran desert and is part of southern Arizona. In this desert there is no water also there are deadly animals and spirits. Some are left behind waiting for the return of others.

I liked the book because its real and I could never picture myself going threw the desert with no food or water. I also liked the book because it described the surrounding and face to face things in that Arizona desert. I didn’t like it because it made me think about people starving in the desert. I would recommend this book to people that like reading long stories. I also recommend this to people that like the setting of a harsh place.
