    patapon phenomenon
this is a great game. it allows you to explore your rhythmic side and your strategical side.

rhythmic side, being able to push the right buttons for the right notes and strategical side, by being able to customize your weapons for a better chance to win the battle. win the battle and get ka-ching [money], get ka-ching and get more customizable, strong patapons.

    overall:

awesome game, might have some hard levels but worth the effort to win them

very easy to start a new game, and to understand the controls

will keep u busy for a long time!

    enjoy!

    Addicting and Fun
I have to say,it’s difficult to put this game down. Using your four main buttons on the PSP you tie together strings of rhythmic beats while the little Patapons keep the beat and repeat everything you hit. Each beat has it’s own command that tells the warriors whether to attack, defend, move forward or start a special chant. Successfully completing a certain number of rhythms in a row will result in frenzy mode which makes the little guys attacks much faster. This game even comes with a great story line that is pretty easy to follow.

While fighting you’ll even be able to pickup upgrades which will apply to certain warriors to help you progress in the game like armor, weapons new drums, food and materials for crafting new warriors. Lots of little side areas to to give variety to the game.

If you’re looking for a fun and addictive, yet easy to play game try this.

    Fun and Cheap
I am not your normal video game junkie. The last real game I played was Link on Nintendo. I just can’t stand most new(i.e. FPS) games. This game however, is fantastic. Just the right amount of strategy, mixed with the rythym part on the buttons, to make me play it all the way to the end. The graphics are cartoonish, but very crisp. I really like the little eyeball critters! And you will sing the chants in your sleep for weeks(Chicka chicka pata pon!). If you are looking for something new and different, you will love this.

    Great Fun!!
This is an extremely fun game. You guide your army on a variety of missions, whether it be hunting for food or marching them to battle, you command it all with the beat of your drum. You get to build your army, equip them and also build up Patopolis. Great stylized and simplistic art and really cool but simple game play. It’s addictive but easy to pick up and put down. I’d give this to younger kids knowing they’d be able to play it and not get too confused. Great overall, recommended for anyone willing to try something new.

One of the Best in 2008
The game is simple and elegant in nature and gameplay, and has its own unique art style that makes it look modern and/or appealing. Lead your mythical people into war. Singing and Dancing. Beat the war drum in bloody battles. Hypnotic play.

Works with old Culligan FXRC Filter
I purchased this MXRC filter to replace the FXRC Culligan filter that came with my GE refrigerator that I bought back in 1999. I just wanted to say that it works fine as there is some confusion as to whether the MXRC filter is a replacement for the FXRC Culligan filter - it is.

Replacement Culligan SmartWater filter for GE refigerator-freezer
The product is fine. Needs to be replaced every 6 months. The rating relates to the service. The product arrived in about a week (std USPS shipping). In good condition. Service efficient and without trouble. Will buy future replacement filters from FiltersFast.

  • Expansion Set to the Carcassonne Game

    Customer Reviews:
A necessary expansion if you like playing with the river
We always play with the river in this house - it helps divide up the board to cut down on megafields.

If you like playing with the river, you need this expansion. I disagree with the reviewer who said it merely makes the river longer. Because of the fork in the river, it also gives you options - do you place your tile on *this* side of the fork, or *that* side of the fork? Okay, not many options, but it does greatly vary the shape the river takes! With just the first river, that river is mostly always the same shape.

It also adds a piece that many players (not all players) use as a “pig farm” - counting that piece as the same as using a pig in T&B.

    Necessary addition for 2+ players
I strongly reccomend this add-on if you ever plan to have more than 2 players and want a game that lasts more than 30 minutes!

    Nice expansion
A great way to start the game. By allowing the fields to split a bit better, the points are better distributed and the game becomes more competitive.

Not a great expansion but worth owning if you’re a fan
I must say I love Carcassonne! I doubt you’d be looking at “The River 2″ unless you love the Carcassonne games as well. I was never a fan of the river expansion that comes with the main Carcassone set (also in “The Big Box) so it is no surprise I am not too fond of this one either. To me, the aspect about Carcassonne I love is drawing a tile and not knowing what you are going to get. With the River, you know you are going to draw a piece of the river until all the “River” tiles are laid out. The only strategy is deciding whether or not to commit a meeple. “The River 2″ only adds more river tiles to make the River longer. Overall, the “River” can add to the strategy of ‘end game’ field occupation, but, personally I find it starts the game off slow.

My favorite expansions are: The Inns and Cathedrals, The Princes and the Dragon (it Rocks!), and Traders and Builders. “The Tower” is pretty good too but playing “The Tower” with “Princess and Dragon” can just get maddening. The both offer piece removal and retrieval game mechanics - which I like….but together it can just get out of hand! The game can turn from a fun strategic family game into a vendetta fest.

If you’re a Carcassonne fan….get “The River 2″. It’s worth it for those ‘Let’s play with ALL the expansions’ nights!

I bought this radio on a whim, and have enjoyed it so much that I am glad I included it with my order. I like radios very much, and this one is uncomplicated in a reliable old fashioned way, as well as being sensitive and capable of picking up distant stations at night.
